Communication isn’t Rocket Science, but the best communicators can work with Rocket Scientists!

When I became President of PR Associates, we rebranded as the first STEM-focused communication firm in Canada.

This rebrand was important to me because it most closely reflects the work we do and the clients we serve.  We have a long history with the natural resource sector, and I hope to work with these clients, and new miners, for a long time to come.

Along with a deep knowledge of mining and its processes, our team has other scientific knowledge worth noting.  I personally have worked in biotech, clean tech, and marine technology.  I’ve worked with engineers, geologists, biologists, chemists, physicists and many other smart “ists”.  It’s my favourite kind of work.

Communication, at its core, is a process of sending and receiving messages.  And there are many good communicators across Canada.  What makes PR Associates unique is, as a collective group, we have a firm grasp on scientific and technical information.  Therefore, our clients spend less initial time “teaching” us what it is they do.  And because we understand, we excel at developing that information into clear, concise and simple information for a variety of communication vehicles delivered to many different stakeholders, while maintaining scientific accuracy.

We’ve recently acquired clients in the Life Sciences, technology development, and nuclear physics spaces.  If you have an interesting project you’d like to discuss, give me a bell.
