November 17, 2014 — In July 2014, PR Associates undertook a comprehensive survey of Aboriginal Canadians to determine their perception of the mineral exploration and mining industry across Canada. This is the first time a survey of this kind has been conducted. The results of the survey reveal that of the 500 Aboriginal Canadians surveyed across all ten provinces and three territories, 38 percent have a favorable opinion of the mining and mineral industry. The study provides the mining industry with a grounded perspective on how to move forward with meaningful engagement and build positive relationships with Aboriginal communities across Canada.

The survey also allows Aboriginal communities to place their interests in a national context. To request the full report please email your information to info@prassociates.com
