September 2021: PR Associates News
National Day for Truth & Reconciliation
September 30th marked the first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. Our team at PR Associates recognized the day by wearing orange to show our support for our Indigenous, Inuit and Métis people and communities by reflecting on the lasting impacts of residential schools and honouring the survivors and their families. We remembered the children who never made it home, and we reaffirmed our commitment to advancing reconciliation in concrete ways.
Our team is growing
It’s an inspiring time here at PR Associates and if you’ve kept an eye on our social media channels, you certainly would have noticed the increase in new smiling faces. Our PR Associates family continues to grow and it’s both inspiring for all of us to get to know one another.
Hiring is one of the most important things we do at PR Associates. Our people are our most important asset and hiring is usually an agonizing and deliberate decision that we do not make easily- except this time. Ashley Parker has been on our most-wanted list for some time, and it is with great pleasure that we are able to announce we have hired her as our new Creative Director.
What makes Ashley in such high demand is her eclectic mix of design rooted in her core passions of sustainability, creating positive social change, and pushing the boundaries of design to tell compelling stories and deliver best-in-class campaigns.
Ashely will lead our creative team, responsible for everything from branding, digital media to video production and user experience design. In addition to elevating all our client-facing work, she will also be working alongside the PR Associate’s management team, supporting the development of new business and helping to shape our company vision of providing high-quality, personalized, and meaningful customer experiences for our clients.
Please join me in welcoming Ashley to the team.
