Vivian Danielson joined PR Associates in 2010 and is a former journalist and author with more than 20 years of experience covering the international mining, mineral exploration and metals sector. Vivian works on the PR Associates team as our mining and mineral exploration associate and provides communication advice.
Previous to joining PR Associates Vivian was a Staff writer for The Northern Miner and was appointed Western Editor in 1989. She was promoted to Editor of The Northern Miner in 1994, based in Don Mills, Ontario, and remained in this position until late 2001. Vivian is also a co-author of the book Mining Explained and Bre-X, Gold Today, Gone Tomorrow: Anatomy of the Busang Swindle published in 1997. Vivian is well known in the mining sector and is a strong advocate for mineral exploration and mining.
